Nigerian Pastors in the UK...

I think this is for the guys outside Nigeria mostly (even though everyones thoughts are welcome)....

I was talking to a friend of mine about a christian conference I was going to attend in London this year (June 18 actually). This conference is been organised by Covenant Christian Centre (Lagos, Nigeria). One of the responses I got to that information was that Nigerian pastors or ministers have a very bad reputation of coming into the UK and raising funds especially when they are 'broke'.

What do you think about this? How can the reputation be cleaned up (if you think there is a bad reputation out there already?)

Birth of my 2nd Baby

Its been a long time since I did any posting. I have tried believe me, but its difficult.
However, last week, my wife gave birth to my second child - Adenrele is his name and I know this is something I can put up here.

My first child was a girl and I love her very much. However, I still got the feeling after the birth of the second baby (a boy) that lots of people around me celebrated the fact that the baby was a boy more than they celebrated the birth of the baby in the first place. That fact that many of the people seem to ask quickly, "what did she have?" and then congratulate 'more' when I said, boy. Is it me or do people still cherish the birth of a baby boy more than a girl?

What do you think?
